Candidate Search Process

Step 1: Candidate Submission Form/Resume

Please complete our Candidate Profile Form and submit your resume. Feel free to visit the open positions tab to view our current opportunities.

Step 2: Profile Completion

After we receive your completed Candidate Profile Form and resume, a Sales Talent Group team member will review your information. This will include confirming your experience level, compensation requirements, and ideal position.

Potential Match: If we feel you are potentially a qualified candidate for a current open position, then we will contact you to gather additional information.  We will then forward a Position Summary document to you for your review. This document will give you a description of the company, position overview, compensation, and the skills and qualifications requested by our client.

No Immediate Match: If we do NOT have a position that suits your background at this time, we encourage you to keep in touch with us on a regular basis. You may follow us on LinkedIn, become a 1st level connection with all of our recruiters, sign up for our quarterly newsletter, and check our open positions tab frequently to review our most current opportunities.

Step 3: Candidate Summary Form & Job Match

After you have reviewed the Position Summary, we will ask you to fill out a Candidate Summary Form. This will take 20+ minutes and will include compensation/production history, career history information, and specific skills and qualification questions based on our client’s needs. If we feel that there is a job match, then we will submit your information and recommend you for an interview.

Step 4: Client Interview

Once you have been chosen to interview, we will consult with you throughout the entire interview process. This includes prepping you for telephone interviews, face-to-face meetings, candidate testing, and reference checking. We strongly encourage open communication and enjoy working hand-in- hand with all of our candidates to ensure they are well prepared for each stage of the process.

Step 5: Offer Letter

We will assist you with any discussions and negotiations of potential job offers and work on behalf of you and our client to ensure there is clear communication throughout this vital step. We can also offer consultation regarding submitting a resignation and best practices for handling counter offers.

Step 6: Onboarding/Follow-up

The Sales Talent Group team is committed to developing long term relationships, not short term placements. We work with both our clients and candidates to assist in whatever way we can to ensure successful onboarding takes place. We follow up with both parties at 30-60-90 day intervals to confirm we have created a successful partnership.
